Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Solar Site Survey / Field Inspection Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Enphase and Tesla systems, a solid understanding of PV solar and Energy Storage System (ESS) installations, and the ability to commission systems effectively. This role requires a meticulous individual who can perform field inspections with precision and ensure all installations meet our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive site surveys for potential solar installations, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis.
- Perform field inspections of installed systems to verify compliance with design specifications, local codes, and industry standards.
- Commission solar and ESS systems, ensuring they are fully operational and optimized for performance.
- Document and report findings from site surveys and field inspections, providing detailed feedback to the installation and engineering teams.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and installers to resolve any issues identified during inspections.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Enphase and Tesla systems.
- Basic knowledge of PV solar and ESS installations.
- Demonstrated ability to commission solar systems.
- Experience with field inspections in the solar industry.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Clean background check and driving record are mandatory.
- Valid driver's license.
