Rokky Brands is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth through effective merchandising and stock management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock shelves, counters, and tables with merchandise, ensuring an attractive and well-maintained store environment.
- Set up advertising displays or arrange merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales and engage customers.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using a Point of Sale Cash Register, handling cash, credit card payments, and returns.
- Assist customers with queries regarding merchandise location, price, and use, demonstrating product knowledge and building trust.
- Calculate sales discounts, prepare inventory, and maintain accurate records of sales and stock levels.
- Clean and maintain the store environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant work experience in retail.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (23 kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and processing transactions.
