The Business Analyst supports Military Sealift Command (MSC) by analyzing financial data, documenting processes, and preparing reports to ensure compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) financial standards. This role requires proficiency in financial systems and tools to support MSC operations.
Responsibilities :
- Collect, analyze, and present financial data originating in NERP , Navy Data Platform (NDP) , Advana , and other financial systems.
- Develop processes, procedures, and tools for financial tracking and reporting to meet MSC’s mission objectives.
- Perform variance analysis to improve financial performance and provide actionable insights.
- Prepare Monthly Status Reports and Financial Execution Briefs.
- Develop and maintain desk guides and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) documenting recurring transactional work.
