Job Description

As a Marketing Communications and Events Specialist at Roland Berger, you’ll play a key role in elevating our brand presence across the Americas. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you’ll lead and support campaigns that build awareness, drive engagement, and strengthen client relationships.

This role is open in our Boston, Chicago and Detroit offices.

Who You Are

You are a creative, detail-oriented professional with a passion for storytelling, event planning, and brand development. You thrive in fast-paced environments and love juggling multiple projects—from crafting compelling messaging to executing high-impact client events. You’re a strong communicator, a collaborative team player, and have a sharp eye for detail.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Event Management:
    Plan and execute client-facing and industry events—both virtual and in-person—from concept through follow-up. This includes managing logistics, preparing speakers, coordinating with vendors, and handling post-event communications.
  • Marketing Communications:
    Develop and edit persuasive content across various channels (email, web, social media, and print) aligned with our strategic marketing campaigns. Support firmwide storytelling and branding efforts in the Americas.
  • Project Coordination:
    Collaborate with partners, consultants, and global teams to bring marketing campaigns to life. Track timelines, manage budgets, and ensure deliverables are on-brand and delivered on time.
  • Lead Generation & CRM:
    Partner with colleagues on list management, lead capture, and reporting in Microsoft Dynamics CRM to track ROI and optimize outreach.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing, event management, or communications (professional services or B2B preferred)
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Experience with marketing tools (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics CRM, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, HubSpot)
  • Collaborative, resourceful, and proactive mindset
  • Comfortable working across cultures and time zones
