What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Adminstrative Assistant position at Roland NY Auctioneers & Appraisers?
We are looking for a career administrative professional to assist in our auction gallery. The pace here can be fast and hectic, so you need to be able to stay cool, calm, and collected under pressure while also multi-tasking with changing priorities.
Must have excellent customer service, problem-solving, and computer skills. A team player who can also work independently and has a good sense of humor will be an ideal fit.
General Responsibilities:
-Answer phones and maintain our general email inbox
-Take payments and assist customers as needed
-Follow up on unpaid invoices as well as property that has not been picked up
- Assist with inventory control and organization
-Prepare clients Agreements and correspondence
-Provide back up support to all staff as needed
MUST live local to Glen Cove, NY. This is NOT a remote/hybrid position.
Experience in the art and/or auction industry a plus but not required, experience with Auction Flex is also a plus.
Position is Mon - Fri, 9:30am - 5:30pm, and one Saturday per month.
