- Applicants MUST have a minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience hauling gasoline in either a tanker or bobtail.
- We offer competitive pay: $34/hour (day shifts) or $35/hour (night shifts).
- This position is full-time up 70 hours per week; over 40 hours paid at the overtime rate.
- Housing available.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely transport gasoline locally.
- Follow delivery instructions and complete documentation accurately and timely.
- Skillfully connect/disconnect hoses and operate pumps/valves to load/unload fuel.
- Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical/safety issue(s).
- Comply with all DOT regulations.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Professionally serve customers.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with endorsements for Tank Vehicle (N) and Hazardous Materials (H).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in CDL hazmat driving.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in hauling gasoline, no exceptions.
- Minimum 25 years old.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs comfortably.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods.
Screening Requirements
- Clean driving record with no major MVR or PSP violations in the last 5 years.
- Successful complete a DOT drug test.
- Must have and maintain a current medical card.
- Must pass three-year DOT safety background check and seven-year criminal background check.
- Must pass pre-trip inspection and road test to demonstrate proficiency operating the required equipment.
