We are seeking skilled Programming Machinists to join our dynamic team focusing on the Aerospace Industry.
Weekend Shift : 3 x 12s (hours are flexible, 5 am- 5 pm, 6 am- 6 pm, etc), work 36, paid for 40 hours
Pay : $30- $45 / hr DOE
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in machining and be proficient in operating various types of machinery. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality components that meet precise specifications. As a Machinist, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that all parts are crafted with accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Program, set up, operate and maintain CNC machines, lathes, and other machining tools to produce parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy in dimensions.
- Implement GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) practices to maintain quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve machining processes and product designs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
