Quality Control Inspector
Position Overview:
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will test and inspect assembled parts to ensure they meet specifications and performance standards. You’ll work with a variety of tools and equipment, including precision measuring instruments and high-voltage testers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform basic and complex tests on cables and assemblies, including high voltage and ground impedance testing.
- Inspect soldering, terminals, and connectors while maintaining detailed inspection logs.
- Develop inspection plans and generate first article inspection reports.
- Evaluate new assemblies and collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Account Management teams to address issues.
- Assist in maintaining organization, calibration logs, and fixture databases.
- Solder, terminate, and apply heat shrinking as needed.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of IPC 610 and 620 standards.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and customer assembly drawings.
- Experience with multi-meters, test equipment, force gauges, and calipers.
- Familiarity with connectors, terminals, and fixture components.
