Job Description
Not an exhaustive set of responsibilities, but an over view:
• You will review historic campaigns, identify selection improvement opportunities.
• You will plan and design in-market tests to challenge the current champion approach.
• You will understand the marketing and circulation team’s processes for selection and cut-backs.
• You will thoroughly understand the marketing database design, and processes that create, update and delete records from the database.
• You will constructively resolve any problems or issues, and modifies the process to reduce future problems.
If this has piqued your curiosity, please check if YOU have the following:
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in direct marketing, database marketing, campaign management or related discipline.
• Excellent project management / organization skills, with a track record of consistently delivering campaigns on-time with high quality.
• Experience successfully working with at least 5 MM household consumer databases (understanding data structures, relational databases, query optimization, file hygiene, etc.).
• Experience developing technically-successful campaigns using SQL and campaign selection tools (Unica Affinium Campaign is a plus) on large relational databases.
