Logistics Coordinator

Job Overview
Located in the heart of Sioux Falls, Roll N' Smoke is the largest smoke shop in South Dakota, offering an extensive selection of tobacco and vaping products to meet every customer's needs. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient handling and distribution of our specialized smoke products, including delicate items like glass, bottles, and vaping devices. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess a strong understanding of the smoke industry. You will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, coordinating store transfers, and preparing accurate customer shipments, while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Product Handling: Carefully handle and manage a variety of smoke products, including delicate glass, bottles, and vaping devices, minimizing damage and ensuring proper storage.
• Physical Tasks: Safely lift, move, and handle heavy products (up to 100 lbs) as needed, including loading and unloading shipments.
• Warehouse Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment. Implement and optimize storage solutions.
• Store Coordination: Manage the timely and accurate supply of products between store locations, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Shipment Preparation: Prepare customer shipments with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging.
• Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and report any discrepancies promptly.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards, including proper handling of potentially hazardous materials.
• Instruction Following: Accurately and consistently follow provided instructions and procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics, warehouse management, or a related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the smoke industry, including product types and handling requirements.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to handle delicate items with precision and care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions.
• Physical ability to lift, move, and handle heavy products regularly.
• Proficiency in inventory management software (preferred).
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to100 lbs) regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
