Enterprise Data Architect

As an Enterprise Data Architect, you will lead the development and implementation of Rollease Acmeda's Enterprise Data Architecture Strategy, ensuring alignment with business strategic initiatives and technological advancements. Steering the definition, design, creation, deployment, and management of the organization's data architecture. You will be responsible for architecting and maintaining a comprehensive blueprint of the enterprise data landscape, guiding technology investments, promoting efficiency, and ensuring scalability and security. You will serve as the people leader for our global data and analytics team, overseeing data engineers and fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Collaborating also with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to develop and maintain a cohesive architecture roadmap to transform Rollease Acmeda's data approach into a more structured, governed system that fosters a data-centric culture.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING :

1. Strategic Data Architecture

• Owns execution of Data Strategy Roadmap towards cloud-native architecture with a single global holistic platform to enable the enterprise's data-driven transformation.
• Leads the creation and maintenance of the enterprise data architecture blueprint, ensuring it guides technology investments and promotes efficiency.
• Designs and implements enterprise data architectures that support data integration, warehousing, and analytics in support of technical strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
• Develops data models, schemas, and architecture patterns to ensure data consistency, scalability, and performance.
• Evaluates and recommends data management technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance the data ecosystem.

2. Technology Alignment and Investment Guidance

• Aligns technology decisions with business goals and objectives. Guides technology investments to ensure scalability and security within the enterprise data architecture.
• Establishes data trust with proper ownership and stewardship around data assets and proactive monitoring and alerting on data quality issues.

3. Stakeholder Engagement, Collaboration and Communication

• Collaborates with stakeholders at all levels to develop and maintain a cohesive architecture roadmap.
• Acts as trusted advisor of the business on data-related matters, providing guidance on best practices and emerging trends.
• Enables self-service analytics by establishing a center of excellence and a community of practice.
• Communicates the enterprise architecture strategy and vision to stakeholders.

4. Data Governance and Security

• Establishes and enforces data governance policies and practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
• Collaborates with security teams to implement data protection strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).

5. Innovation and Continuous Improvement

• Stays abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data architecture and management.
• Drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of data solutions.
• Implements analytics use cases focused on anomaly detection and forecasting, allowing Rollease Acmeda to create immediate foundational advances, and drive predictive and prescriptive analytics.

6. Team Leadership and Development

• Leads, inspires, and manages the data and analytics team, with a focus on data engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Develops and implements strategies for team growth, skill development, and performance enhancement.
• Provides mentorship, coaching, and support to team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Ensures clear communication of goals, expectations, and feedback to team members, facilitating their professional growth and success.

7. Project Delivery and Resource Management

• Manages team resources effectively to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
• Oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of data architecture projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Coordinates with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of data strategies and solutions.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE :

• Education : Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
• Experience : 5 years in data architecture, data modelling, and data management
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience in leading and managing data engineering teams, with a focus on team development and performance management.
• Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, metadata management, and data security practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.

• Strategic leadership in AI and data strategy across the enterprise.
• Strong understanding of core data engineering concepts. Expertise in designing complex data architecture and scalable systems (CDC, slowly-changing dimensions, etc.), and building CI / CD pipelines.
• Understanding of how to operationalize and maintain machine learning models.
• Advanced skills in data streaming and real-time data processing. Proficiency in PowerBI, SQL and big data technologies. Databricks, Apache Spark and parallel computing knowledge is a plus.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehouse solutions.
• Experienced in cloud-based ERP data modeling (SAP, Oracle Netsuite, or Dynamics 365) for optimized reporting of end-to-end business processes.
• Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and data pipeline orchestration tools.
• Deep knowledge of big data technologies and extensive experience with data security measures.
• Ability to lead data architecture reviews and approvals.
• Strategic leadership in AI and data strategy across the enterprise.
