What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Technical Designer position at Roller Rabbit?

Responsibilities:
- Own the fit sample process – ( Proto, SMS, PP, TOP ) and will be responsible for comments/writing and will communicate all notes to the factories.
- Create development Tech Packs for RTW for Roller Rabbit and sister brand, Loudmouth.
- Maintain thorough follow-up on all samples with factories and own daily communication.
- Checking PP, TOP, Bulk Strike-offs against approved SMS
- Collaborate with the production team on managing trims for intimates, athletics, and PJ’s.
- Track strike off development and keep factories on schedule in initial development stage
- Keep Tech Packs organized and updated in DropBox
Roller Rabbit Sister Brand - Loudmouth
- Own PD calendar and partner with the Sr. Director of Sourcing to ensure we are meeting launch dates
- lead monthly PD meetings to discuss new developments, fit issues, production calendar, strike offs.
- Fabric sourcing and chasing strike offs
- Organize fittings, Sending out Comments, Meet w/ designers, Sample follow-up
- Scheduling fit models for RTW women’s, kids, 18 East, Loudmouth
- Assist with Package sending & receiving
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of Technical Design experience, Production is a plus!
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design/Technical Design
- A strong foundation in garment technology, including fabric properties, sewing techniques, and construction methods.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail with the ability to multitask and work independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.

Salary : $80,000 - $85,000
