PACU/Pre-Op RN

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a PACU Nurse. As a PACU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure the safe and comfortable transition of patients from the operating room to the recovery room. Responsibilities: - Monitor patients' vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels - Assess patients' pain levels and provide appropriate pain management - Administer medications as prescribed by physicians - Monitor patients for any signs of complications or adverse reactions to anesthesia - Collaborate with the surgical team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans - Assist with patient education and discharge planning - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Experience: To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications: - Current RN license in [state] - Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a PACU or similar setting - Proficiency in esthetic laser treatment, venipuncture, gastric lavage, mammography, home care, coding, ambulatory surgery center protocols, physiology knowledge, IV infusion, and basic life support - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment At [company], we value our employees and offer competitive compensation packages.
