Rolling Greens is an innovative commercial landscape design service, providing high-impact interior and exterior landscaping solutions as well as dedicated maintenance services to fit any design plan. Our services also include Holiday Decorating and Green Building features such as Living Walls.
We are looking to add a motivated team member with the following skillset: maintain exterior plant designs; install exterior & interior green plant; participate in Holiday décor & lighting installations (interior and exterior). We are searching for a candidate passionate about plants and looking to build a career alongside a growing company in a niche, fun industry!
Starting salary rate based on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor & maintain care of exterior landscape at commercial client sites. Including: watering; pruning; deadheading; pest identification; and treatment as necessary.
- Seasonal rotations of exterior plant removals and installation.
- Interior green plant installs in commercial spaces.
- Ability to handle the physical aspects of the position (included but not limited to): walking; standing; bending; lifting & carrying 50lbs ; climbing ladders; lift operations; etc.
- Loading and unloading trucks with plant material, tools, supplies, Christmas décor and outdoor lighting installations.
- Monitor plants for signs of pests, diseases, or other issues, and take appropriate actions to address them.
- Communicate immediately with the Service Supervisor about any urgent replacements, new account information, or installation issues that need addressed with operations.
- Meet daily standards in all operations, including care of plant materials, supplies and company vehicles.
- Participate in interior and exterior planting projects as well as Holiday installs as business needs require.
- Provide excellent service and resolve client questions and concerns. Always maintain Rolling Greens Inc.’s standards with professional presentation and service, including operating company vehicles.
Position Requirements:
- Passion for Plants!
- Ability to drive a box truck and company fleet vehicles.
- 2 years of experience in the horticultural field desirable (landscaping, greenhouse).
- General knowledge of pesticides for common plant pests, Pesticide License, or willingness to attain.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, teamwork skills, & the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively with a high level of enthusiasm and self-motivation.
- Formal education in Horticulture is a plus.
- The candidate must be willing to work outside under all weather conditions with the ability to lift and move supplies weighing up to 50-75 pounds.
- Valid and clean driver’s license required.
- Ability to pass a Drug Screen.
- Peak business periods will require extended workdays (Holidays).
