Rolling Hills Hospital is hiring TEMPORARY REGISTERED NURSES for night shift.
- 3 or 4 month assignments are available.
- Candidates must be able to work weekends.
- Current UHS employees and former UHS employees within the past 6 months are not eligible to apply.
Purpose:
Provide direct patient care as prescribed by the physician and treatment team. Provide medical management and assessment of patients. Ensure environmental safety and crisis management for the patient population. Direct the implementation of behavior management programs and ensure consistent carry-through. Make patient & task assignments to subordinates & monitor their performance of duties. Provide training & education to staff, patients, families, & others. Document patient care; ensure that data is accurate, & that it is included in the master treatment plan in a timely manner. Work with the treatment team to provide a consistently therapeutic milieu.
Qualifications
Education/Training:
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
Licensure/Certification:
• Current Tennessee State Registered Nurse License
• Current CPR Certification (required)
• Handle with Care Certification (training provided)
Experience:
• Three years of inpatient psychiatric experience with adults and adolescents preferred.
