Our thrift store provides affordable items to the community while supporting various local charitable initiatives. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team.
Job Description: As a Store Associate at Rolling Hills Ministries, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing sales transactions, sorting and organizing donations, and pricing knick-knacks and other store items.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Sort, organize, and display donated items in an appealing and organized manner.
- Price and tag items, including knick-knacks, clothing, furniture, and household goods.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the store.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Assist with donation drop-offs.
- Support the store manager in various tasks as required.
- Ability to lift larger items.
- Knowledgeable about pricing items/clothing. (Brands, collectibles, etc)
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to work collaboratively with a team.
- Assist manager to make sure tasks are being done when asked.
