We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Group Facilitator to join our team at Rolling Hills Recovery Center. Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate group therapy sessions, ensuring a supportive atmosphere for participants.
- Develop and implement group activities that promote engagement and personal growth.
- Monitor participant progress and provide feedback to enhance their recovery journey.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and support for individuals.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with clinic policies and regulations.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations as needed to tailor group sessions to participant needs.
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring the safety of all participants.
- Utilize telehealth platforms effectively for remote group sessions when required.
Skills
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of clinical practices related to mental health.
- Experience in addiction counseling, case management, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology as it relates to mental health treatment.
- Familiarity with working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus.
- Strong crisis intervention skills to manage challenging situations effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate discussions within the group.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Experience with telehealth services is advantageous.
