Job Summary

Staffriendz is seeking a Mechanical Drafter for our trusted partner in the logistics and supply chain industry. The primary responsibility of this role is DRAFTING, utilizing AutoCAD or SolidWorks to design conveyor systems and compute cost estimates for design alternatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in determining corrective actions for damaged or worn equipment based on breakdown history and operational input.
• Oversee facility and equipment maintenance, ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient workspace.
• Supervise housekeeping vendors through inspections to maintain quality standards.
• Participate in environmental audits and provide compliance training.
• Draft feasibility studies and assist in various engineering projects.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Autodesk or SolidWorks (2D & 3D)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to balance big-picture concepts with precision
• Project management skills, including experience with Microsoft Project or Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, Outlook)
