### **Job Summary:**
As a Test Driver Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and executing tire vehicle testing across North America for undisclosed client . Your role will involve scheduling tests, acquiring vehicles and tires, collecting test data, creating reports, and collaborating with tire engineers to improve the data collection process. You must be willing to travel within North America for testing programs.
### **Duties/Responsibilities:**
- **Manage vehicle testing** primarily for ride and handling within North America.
- Schedule and obtain quotes for **test tracks and proving grounds**.
- **Acquire test vehicles** (rent/lease) and wheels (rent or KATC inventory).
- Coordinate tire/wheel mounting and shipment to/from proving grounds.
- Collect data, create detailed reports, and communicate results to tire engineers.
- **Work with third-party test evaluators** for external testing.
- Manage and schedule **snow handling and traction testing**.
- Collaborate with tire engineers and **KATC test drivers** to improve the testing and data collection process.
- **Travel** to proving grounds as required by programs.
### **Required Skills/Abilities/Education:**
- **Bachelor’s Degree** in a technical field.
- **3 years of tire test driver experience** in vehicle testing.
- Proficient in **Microsoft Office** for data acquisition and analysis.
- Strong ability to **work independently** and in a team.
- Motivated, communicative, and willing to learn new methods and technologies.
- **Prior experience** with **vehicle tire testing** (Ride and Handling).
- Skilled in **scheduling** test tracks, managing logistics, and obtaining quotes.
- **Vehicle operation** experience with test vehicles and tire/wheel mounting.
- **Data collection** and **report creation** skills.
### **Desired Skills/Abilities:**
- Experience with **Automotive OEM tire testing**.
- Knowledge of **tire engineering** and testing methodologies.
- **Tire mounting equipment operation** experience.
- Ability to **troubleshoot** and resolve testing-related issues.
- Willingness to **travel** to test sites and proving grounds.
