Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Web Application Administrator to work Onsite supporting our War-fighter customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, integration, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, security implementation, documentation, and configuration management of software application hosted on Windows and Linux-based servers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues related to server and software issues with Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence/Atlassian, TWS, Artifactory, Jenkins, Mailman, SonarQube, VoIP, ACAS, and more.
- Provide direct support through a ticketing system to application owners, developers, government entities and related internal/external teams.
- Follow and implement client's Information Security's standards to ensure the software and server environment is secure and protected from unauthorized access.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in performing installation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, security implementation, and configuration of software applications in a classified environment.
- Installation and configuration of web and application server software.
- Experience with Windows Servers 2016/2019, Internet Information Services (IIS), and Red Hat Linux (Apache - Open Source) web servers containing over 200 production applications: Cloud & On-premises, Unclass/Class networks, and supporting public-facing websites using serverless solutions.
- Experience troubleshooting software and server issues.
- Experience with Ivanti, Heat, or Remedy ticketing system.
- Knowledge of DISA STIGS and Security Policies.
- CERTIFICATION(s) CompTIA Security
- ADDITIONAL REQUIRED CERTIFICATION(s) - Obtained 60 Days After Start Date Linux-Based Certification, desired
- Tenable Security Center Certification, desired
- SECURITY CLEARANCE Active Top Secret Security Clearance
- EDUCATION BS/BA degree and 3 years related experience OR AA/AS degree and 7 years related experience OR HS and 9 years related experience
