Title : Master Planner / Scheduler

Position Summary :
This position is responsible for work for assigned production shops ensuring parts or materials and manpower are available for the shop to perform the work. Adds and assists Sr. Manager Logistics to plan changes for assigned areas and helps coordinate into production when appropriate.
Key Accountabilities :
- Responsible for strategic daily / weekly production planning to effectively schedule and manage change in the production schedule.
- Strategically expedites parts that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions
- Prepares Purchase Orders and maintains Schedule Agreement delivery schedules to obtain materials
- Conducts strategic extensive follow-up activity to verify material shipment and receipt align and informs of pending issues.
- Leads and provides training to personnel in Logistics areas as needed.
- Supervise the coordination and implementation of Engineering Change Notices
- Lead the tracking, investigation and resolution of supplier on-time deliveries
- Support and lead the production planning activities
- Communicate scheduling guidelines
- Responsible for following ERP procedures and the company's quality system.
- Develop and lead supplier development program.
- Lead the focus of suppliers who are not performing and support Material Planners with their challenging suppliers.
- Involvement / introduction / transition of new suppliers with Strategic Purchasing and troubleshooting of parts / suppliers issues during the process
- HOT part process and daily prep
- Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls Royce Code of Conduct.
- Perform special projects as required
