Position Summary :
The Product Manager Data Center of Data Center market is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including : gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's goals.
Key Accountabilities :
- Leads Product Roadmap Projects
- Leads and manages cross functional project teams
- Responsible for steering, reporting and achieving set Project Target (KPI based)
- Seek to perform structured assessment of Customer and Market requirement
- Validates competitor capabilities and offerings.
- Leads the prioritization process with internal and external Stakeholder and develops the product and solutions roadmap.
- Provides expert guidance and responsibility for the Product / Solutions Requirement Specification for defined NPI projects
- Be an expert with respect to the competition
- Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product
- Research and analyze requirements from various engineering standards, contracts, and proposal documents.
- Represents RRPS at Industry Associations as well as Regulatory Authorities
- Select effective design concepts and fundamental technology for new products or improvement of existing products
- Review and compare customer specifications against MTU designs and equipment vendor proposals.
- Leads the Market introduction and roll-out of improved and new offerings in close cooperation with Marketing and sales.
- Promotes a compliance culture in area of responsibility, and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct
- Performs special projects as required.
