Project Manager - Supplier Development

Key Accountabilities :
- Negotiate, plan, initiate, and manage supplier development projects and ensure adherence to budget, schedule and scope.
- Plan and conduct logistic development workshops onsite at the supplier's location.
- Work with the supply base to identify and improve suppliers with performance, capacity, and delivery challenges.
- Arrange and conduct plant audits and determine supplier capabilities and recommend opportunities for improvement.
- Develop supplier improvement plans for suppliers that cannot meet our needs and support change initiatives. Create alternatives and options for supplier performance issues.
- Analyze supplier capacity data and perform mathematical calculations to determine if they can meet our requirements.
- Create and maintain performance metrics that track how individual and collective supplier are meeting our needs.
- Review potential new suppliers to determine capabilities and ability to meet our needs.
- Keep management and project members informed of the project status, schedules, meetings, and problems (or potential problems) on a regular basis.
- Provide training and information to internal and external personnel as needed.
- Input, audit and reconcile supplier information into Logistics computer system.
- Support Rolls-Royce Solutions America's continuous improvement initiatives and the implementation of a standardized process approach utilizing common forms, measurements, and structure.
- Maintain open communication between internal departments, management, and suppliers.
- Performs special projects on time and within budget.
- Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct
- Perform special projects as required.
