Position Summary :
This position is responsible for identifying market and business opportunities considering trends, drivers and market characteristics and then manage the sales funnel and next steps in opportunity development. This position will identify and develop projects to the quotation phase while considering strict budgets, schedule, and scope as outline in customer contracts, specifications, and drawings. This role is part of the sales team to drive the growth of solutions.
Key Accountabilities :
- Lead prospecting, market development and channel development efforts in existing and new market channels with an emphasis on gas systems sales and sustainable product sales, i.e. BESS.
- Assist distribution network as required in sales pipeline development, product training and go to market strategies in order to develop new business
- Research market requirements for multiple markets, to understand the impacts of codes and standards in the energy industry (political, technical, economical as well as legal trends and regulations) to drive strategic growth
- Identification, bundling and prioritization of market requirements and trends for decentralized energy systems.
- Identification of product improvements and technologies in coordination with the product management as well as initiating new developments with the global team
- Create and evaluate potential customer business cases taking a number of influencing factors into consideration
- Understanding business and regulatory framework conditions
- Develop a business intelligence function to measure the impact and result of our business development efforts.
- Support the launch of new products, solutions and product initiatives
- Continuous proactive communication with the sales organizations and partners and stakeholders to create a relevant network to position us in upcoming market opportunities
- Development of sales tools and arguments, creation of e.g. product presentations and white papers
- Participation in customer events, trade fairs and conferences.
- Manages own sales pipeline via CRM tool to report on projects in development and communicate sales funnel status.
- Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls Royce Code of Conduct.
- Perform special projects as required
