We are looking for someone that will be responsible for leading a cross-skilled team to deliver technical work packages in our Future Programmes organisation, in accordance with our Agile framework. What you’ll be doing: You will be responsible for leading a cross-skilled team to deliver technical work packages in our Future Programmes organisation, in accordance with our Agile framework. Work with external (government and industry) and internal technical representatives to ensure programme, technical governance, and capability leadership as appropriate to deliver agreed statement of work. Lead a multi-skilled team to plan, commit, execute, and deliver the work package solutions that meet the required timescales, cost and quality requirements. Ensure that the continuous improvement mindset is embedded within the team to challenge “business as usual” and adopt agile, low-cost principles. Act as the leader and focal point for the IPT and communicate appropriate information to all stakeholders, including team members, sponsors, and customers. Collaborate with the technical governance and capability teams to ensure the technical quality of the work packages including compliance with internal gated review processes. Work with the capability leads to identify training and development requirements.
