Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, providing high-quality meals to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Duties

• Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Perform food handling tasks, including washing, chopping, and cooking ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and storage spaces.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, ensuring proper usage and maintenance.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
• Follow all food safety regulations and protocols to ensure the health and safety of all customers.
• Participate in inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and reporting shortages.

Skills

• Experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• Proficiency with kitchen tools, including knives and other food preparation equipment.
• Knowledge of dietary aide practices is a plus.
• Strong understanding of food handling procedures within the food industry.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
• A passion for culinary arts and eagerness to learn new cooking techniques.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42 – 48 per week
