Job Summary:
MUST BE CERTIFIED!!
We are seeking a skilled certified Smog Only Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in performing smog checks and ensuring vehicles meet state emissions standards without engaging in other types of vehicle repairs.
Duties:
- Conduct smog inspections on various motor vehicles to ensure compliance with state emissions standards.
- Use diagnostic equipment to test vehicle emissions and identify any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and results.
- Provide clear and concise explanations of inspection results to customers.
- Ensure the testing area is clean and adheres to safety and environmental regulations.
- Stay updated on the latest emissions regulations and testing procedures.
Qualifications:
- Valid Smog Technician certification/license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in conducting smog inspections.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $800.00 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
