On-Call Med Device Delivery Driver

Position Overview:

ROMTech is seeking a responsible and hardworking individual to join us as an On-Call Delivery Driver tasked with delivering our Medical Devices into patient homes. The ideal candidate has experience with deliveries, as well as experience being client/patient facing. Proper training on how to educate patients and operate our device will be provided.

• This is a part-time/as needed position, working throughout the local designated territory.
• The coverage radius is anywhere from 1 mile to 100 miles away from the storage locker. Additional mileage above 100 miles may be negotiated on a "per order" basis.
• Flexibility in schedule is needed to work weekend appointments, where necessary.

Responsibilities:

Delivery:

• ROMTech will notify driver of the time and address of intended delivery.
• ROMTech will share with driver the delivery details prior to delivery.
• Driver would go to local storage locker to pick up devices.
• Driver would clean and run diagnostics on equiptment, (training to be provided).
• Driver would provide to ROMTech Representative the Serial Number attached to the equiptment to be delivered to the patient.
• Equiptment is to be loaded and delivered to the patient in accordance with delivery details.
• Driver will bring equipment into the patient's home and set up devices in accordance with ROMTech Standards, (Training to be provided).
• Driver verifies with ROMTech that the delivery and set up was completed.
• Once verified by ROMTech of successful delivery & set-up of device to patient, this will initiate payment to Driver.

Pick-Ups:

• ROMTech will notify Driver of the time and address of intended pick-up location.
• ROMTech will share with Driver the pick-up details prior to pick-up.
• Driver would pick-up device from the patient's home and load into vehicle to return to local storage locker.
• Driver would inspect device for visible marks or defects, clean and run diagnostics upon returning to storage locker, (Training to be provided).
• Driver will provide to ROMTech Representative the Serial Number attached to the equipment being returned.
• Driver verifies with ROMTech that the equipment has been properly returned to local storage locker.
• Once verified by ROMTech of successful return of device, this will initiate payment to Driver.

Requirements:

• Driver must have access to and drive an SUV or larger vehicle to be able to transport multiple devices at a time.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Must be self-directed with the ability to work without supervision.
• Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position, bend, and lift.
• Must be able to drive long distances on a frequent basis, hold a valid driver’s license and have a safe driving record.
• Employees must hold a valid driver’s license and have a safe driving record.
• Must be comfortable driving in various weather conditions depending on the region they are working in. This includes exposure to rain, snow, heat, and cold temperatures. Adequate safety measures will be taken.
