Summary

As a Bartender at Restaurant Roma, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for crafting exceptional beverages that enhance our guests' dining experience. This role is vital in upholding our commitment to hospitality and quality service within our fine dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and ensuring their satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper storage of supplies.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the Aloha POS system.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and coordination during busy periods.
• Educate guests about drink options and make recommendations based on their preferences.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and alcohol service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in a high paced upscale restaurant setting.
• Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and cocktail recipes.
• High proficiency in wine knowledge, both Old World and New World
• Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Must have the ability to multitask as the bartender is responsible for not only the bar top and the service well, but taking additional tables in the bar while also making drinks for the server
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Knowledge of food handling practices within the restaurant industry is essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
