Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and culinary best practices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including cooking stations, utensils, and equipment.
- Assist in meal preparation for catering events as needed, collaborating with the dietary department to meet specific dietary requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Work efficiently under pressure during peak hours while maintaining high-quality food standards.
- Help train new kitchen staff on pizza preparation techniques and kitchen protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cook in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques related to pizza making.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being able to work independently when needed.
