RoMac Distribution Truss has an opening for an experienced Delivery Coordinator in The Villages, FL location. We are looking for someone with a background in dispatching, your primary goal is to coordinate and support deliveries from beginning to end and assist with answering questions and solving problems related to deliveries.. Your position will also assist with tracking and ensuring merchandise is accurately accounted for, handled and delivered.
Qualifications:
- Dispatching experience a must
- Previous CDL driving experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills related to the building supply industry
- Able to communicate customer needs and driving directions to drivers.
- Proficiency using a computer
- Familiarity with Central Florida geographic areas
- Work well within a team environment
- Customer service experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience with planning and process improvement
- Ability to pass a drug test, clear background
