Job Description :
RoMac Distribution Truss has openings for experienced Forklift Operator Yard at our new location in The Villages. RoMac has been a cornerstone of the Central Florida community since 1945, providing high-quality building materials and services. As a locally owned business, we are dedicated to fostering strong community relationships and ensuring exceptional customer service.
This position consists of supporting the operations of our manufacturing teams, following the directions provided by the Supervisor. Your main responsibility will be the safe and efficient transportation of various components used in the production of trusses, ensuring materials are moved to the right locations to maintain a smooth workflow.
Prior experience is preferred.
Job Requirements:
- Work in an outdoor environment
- Follow all safety procedures
- Work well in a team environment
- Ability to show up regularly and on time
- Positive attitude
- Perform various production tasks, including packing, banding and securing products safely
- Assist with yard logistics, including loading, unloading, and organizing materials
- Assist with daily upkeep of truss production areas including trucks, organizing finished products, cleaning & maintaining storage of truss building materials
- Other duties as assigned
