Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing:
- Collaborate and align with company-wide sourcing strategies to meet business needs, including identifying potential suppliers, and evaluating supplier capabilities.
- Operational Management:
- Lead a team of engineers, quality technicians, and local sourcing representatives, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and monitoring performance.
- Supplier Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers, ensuring compliance, quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Market Research:
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities and risks.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, such as geopolitical instability, natural disasters, or supplier disruptions.
- 8 years of experience in the procurement, supply chain, or contracting professions
- Extensive experience in all facets of strategic global sourcing, including, but not limited to, foreign markets, sectors, currency exchange, and tariffs.
- Contract Management
- Highly skilled negotiator with a proven track record of success.
- Non-expired passport or ability to obtain a valid passport
