Responsibilities
- Works with Senior HR Generalist, HR Specialist, and Management to drive culture and work environment improvement for employees and staff as well as providing administrative support.
- Assists the HR team with HR tasks, including:
- Creating and maintaining personnel files in accordance with federal, state and company rules and regulations.
- Assists with new hire orientation, benefit orientation, and HRIS data entry.
- Assists with staffing needs, including recruitment and onboarding of new hires.
- Preparing onboarding materials and helping to facilitate new hire orientation.
- Providing customer service to employees by answering questions regarding policies and procedures and assisting in confidential personal matters.
- Running reports from HRIS system for Senior HR Generalist, HR Director, and other members of leadership, as requested.
- Working with HR Specialist in planning and hosting employee engagement, appreciation, and wellness events.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an administrative or HR role is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Knowledge of HR policies and procedures with demonstrated successful application.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
Compensation: $21.01 - $30.43 per hour
