What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Electrician (Swing Shift) position at Romac Industries, Inc.?

We are currently seeking candidates to join our team as Industrial Electrician. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, performing installation and maintenance of a variety of electrical equipment. If you have a keen eye for detail, enjoy troubleshooting and working in a collaborative environment, then we want to hear from you!
Hours: Monday - Thursday 12pm - 8:30pm, Friday 10am - 6:30pm
What you’ll do:
- Lay out, install, and maintain a wide variety of electrical equipment, including motors, motor generator sets, rectifiers, transformers, alarm and communication systems, machine and process controls, relays, circuit breakers, and electronic devices.
- Install power, light, electronic, and control circuits and apparatuses; establish secondary distribution centers; balance loads; and wire complicated circuits with a large number of connections.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and replace or repair parts.
- Perform all three-phase work and single-phase work.
- Understand and follow all safety rules and guidelines.
- Keep up with company work schedule expectations and the physical demands of the job.
What you’ll bring:
- Team player mentality with the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Strong math skills and concepts required to meet scope work.
- Basic understanding of computers and proficiency in basic computer skills.
- Operation and maintenance of all machines, processes and facilities.
- Able to correctly size/engineer electrical circuits to current NEC codes.
- 5 years of experience in industrial electrician field.
Compensation:
$35.05 - $52.60 $1/hour shift differential
