What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Machine Operator I (Finishing - Day Shift) position at Romac Industries, Inc.?

We are currently seeking candidates to join our team as Process Machine Operator I. In this role, you will be responsible for operating steel shot blast machines and controlling conveyor table systems. If you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, then we want to hear from you!
What you’ll do:
- Follow work instructions to operate steel shot blast machines.
- Operate machines and conveyors to ensure swift product flow.
- Learn to differentiate between the different sizes of subcomponents and
- Learn how to utilize a computer to search for part numbers and transact jobs.
- Inspect each subcomponent for quality defects and sort castings to like jobs.
- Operate conveyors to move product and degate castings with hammers or hydraulic wedges.
- Grinding casting to meet quality specs. Using angle grinder, die grinder, pedestal grinder and belt sanders.
What you’ll bring:
- Team player mentality with the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Able to work in face paced and physical demanding environments.
- Basic understanding of computers and proficiency in basic computer skills.
Compensation: $20 - $27.16 per hour
Hours: Mon – Thurs 5:00 am – 3:30 pm
