What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Machine Operator III (Swing Shift) position at Romac Industries, Inc.?
In this role, you'll take charge of operating complex machines or processes with limited supervision, applying your expertise to adjust, align, and fine-tune process variables to achieve the desired outcome. You'll have the opportunity to plan process steps, guide team members, and ensure quality by inspecting and testing finished products. Mastery of all steps in the process is key, and you may rotate through different stations to keep things dynamic. This position involves frequent hands-on work with moderate to heavy materials, and you'll stay active with plenty of walking or standing throughout your shift. Hours: Mon – Fri 1:00pm-9:30pm
What you’ll do:
- Utilize DBR, Oracle, and Excel Data bar to determine schedule and jobs to be processed.
- Run dispatch list, understand and decipher all part numbers.
- Follow work instructions, drawings, established quality standards, and established safety protocols.
- Ensure proper program, dies, jigs, or molds are loaded to meet machines capacity and DBR schedule.
- Inspect each subcomponent for proper materials, dimensions, and finishes to meet quality standards.
- Coordinate delivery to ensure production schedule is met.
What you’ll bring:
- 3 years of experience with operating manufacturing equipment
- Run Excel data bar and read spreadsheet
- Strong communication, reading, math, and computer skills
- Ability to use job specific tools such as thickness or radius gauges
- Ability to use electronic scale
Compensation: $24.00-$34.09 per hour
