What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quotations Estimator I position at Romac Industries, Inc.?
**Please note that this position is all in office.**
As a Quotations Estimator, you'll play a crucial role in assisting our valued customers and outside sales representatives. Your main focus will be on providing them with accurate pricing information and handling any inquiries they may have, whether it's about special pricing, non-standard products, or technical aspects of our offerings. While you'll have the support you need, you'll also have the autonomy to efficiently manage your daily responsibilities.

Hours: Hours: Training Shift: Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm. After training is completed (approximately two months) the shift will change to Mon-Fri 5:30am-2:00pm

Responsibilities
- Create quotes based on Romac established practices, policies, and procedures, and help determine products required for customers’ specific needs.
- Interpret and review customer requirements, specifications, and drawings to ensure quotes are accurate, and offer solutions that maximize profitability and add value for both the customer and Romac.
- Coordinate with Outside Sales Representative(s) to determine and/or clarify project requirements, pricing, and strategies. Apply a current understanding of bid strategies and market conditions.
- Report any negative or positive feedback from customers about Romac pricing, products, and/or procedures and refer unresolved customer grievances to Inside Sales leads and managers or designated departments for further investigation.
- Interface with other individuals and departments in the organization to obtain support and commitment for bids.

- Ability to understand margins, different costing types, and when to apply which type to a specific inquiry
- Exemplifies internal and external customer service
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to understand drawings and materials lists from engineering
- Ability to multi-task
- Self-motivated, driven, and ambitiously pursues the activities required to complete daily workload and responsibilities

Compensation: $23.51-34.09 per hour
