Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Grapple Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting and hauling tree debris, while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage routes effectively.
Duties
- Operate various types of trucks including dump trucks.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using equipment such as loaders.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse staff
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during transport.
- Assist in yard jockey duties as needed, moving trailers within the yard.
Skills
- Proficient in operating various types of trucks including dump trucks and grapple trucks.
- Experience with route driving and driver responsibilities.
- Familiarity with mechanical knowledge for basic truck maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
