JOB SUMMARY:
The Quick Lube Technician functions as an entry-level technician who ensures that maintenance inspections and service is performed as required by manufacturers, ensures pre-delivery service on new and pre-owned vehicles, and provides a high level of customer service.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Perform Routine Service Inspections: Ensure lubrication and maintenance is performed as required by manufacturer. Ensures multi-point maintenance inspections, including checking the oil, tire pressure and condition, filters, windshield wiper fluid, power steering fluid, brake fluid, transmission and differential fluids, and engine coolant and will know how to top off or replace these fluids and maintenance-related parts as required. Conduct pre-delivery service on new and pre-owned vehicles to ensure excellent working order for the customer. Drive vehicles in and around the premises as needed. Perform routine vehicle servicing activities as directed.
- Demonstrate Professionalism and Competency: Maintains an increasingly broad knowledge of how a vehicle's complex components work and interact. Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations, standards, and company policies. Adapts to rapidly changing technologies in the automotive industry. Maintains cleanliness of vehicles while performing service or repairs. Assists other technicians when needed. Establishes and maintains excellent working relationships with dealership staff.
- Customer Service & Quality Orientation: Personally commit to quality and superior customer service in all aspects of work: Provides Romain Elite Customer Service for internal and external customers. Participates in and promotes the established Quality Improvement Process (QIP) for continuous improvement. Participates on teams to research, measure, and correct problems and to strive for process improvement. Communicates and exemplifies the Companys Mission Statement, Vision Statement, Values, and Philosophy. Attends at least ten (10) hours of training annually to continue the development of work-related skills.
