St. Peter's School in Olney Maryland is seeking a part-time aftercare teacher to work with students after school - this role is 15 hours per week and will report to the Principal.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate and provide a healthy, safe, calm after school environment
- Create and follow a daily and weekly lesson plan.
- Monitor and account for children at all times
- Maintain supplies for activities and keep aftercare supplies in good working condition
- Create and maintain a clean and orderly classroom space
- Keep a daily record of the times at which children are picked-up
- Communicate clearly with parents
- Maintain a working knowledge of school policies and procedures
- Knowledge of proper documentation of children's injuries, location and use of first aid kit and all playground rules
