The Sisters of Mount Carmel in Port Tobacco Maryland are hiring a part-time cook for their convent in Port Tobacco Maryland.

· This position will be part-time, Monday - Thursday 9am to 12pm and, if available, Saturday 10am-1pm.

· The cook will plan and prepare a nutritious meal for 12 people

· All food and cooking utensils will be provided

· Qualifications: Experience in cooking for at least a dozen people, Knowledge of food safety rules and guidelines, At least two years’ food service experience

· Able to keep a kitchen and cooking area neat and tidy.

· Must be respectful of the sisters' life of solitude and silence

· Practicing Catholic preferred

Pay rate is $20 per hour
