ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

- Preparing and serving meals in Menard and Souby
- Purchase food and needed supplies.
- Assist with planning menus and related activities such as dining room and special medical diets if needed.
- Give special attention to portion control.
- Maintain all workstations for efficiency and cleanliness.
- Keep pantry, coolers, and freezers organized and clean.
- Assist housekeeping with room cleaning, and laundry in Menard and Souby.

QUALIFICATIONS TO PERFORM THE JOB SUCCESSFULLY:
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma
Language Skills:
- Must be able to communicate clearly to all by phone, verbally, and in written form.
- Required to speak English.

- N/A
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- All employees of the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux are required to hold Safe Environment Training and update every 3 years. This training includes a criminal background check.
Physical Demands:
- Repetitive hand motions
- Ability to lift up 20 pounds.
