St. Anne Catholic Church and School, in Bristol VA, is seeking an Assistant Bingo Manager.
Summary/Purpose:
The Assistant Bingo Manager assists the Bingo Manager in managing the St. Anne Catholic Church Bingo Charitable Gaming activity. His primary responsibilities are supporting the Bingo Manager in maintaining proper custody of SACC assets, fair conduct of the gaming activities, compliance the VDACS regulations and proper reporting of the activity to SACC and to the VDACS regulator.
Responsibilities
- Supports the Bingo Manager in ensuring that the Bingo operation is adequately staffed to be able to open and conduct gaming sessions as scheduled, Tuesday and Saturday nights, and maintenance of inventories of Bingo supplies.
- Supports the Bingo Manager in ensuring that the economics of the gaming activity are such that players are attracted and return to play AND that the economics are such that we can generate the 10% net income necessary to settle the target Use of Proceeds distribution required by VDACS.
- Primarily responsible for cashiering, learning that activity and all the other activities associated with the Bingo Operation.
- Be prepared to assume Bingo Manager duties when Bingo Manager is unavailable.
- Supports the Bingo Manager in discharging his various reporting duties, including VDACS, IRS and financial reporting.
