The ideal candidate will have experience: teaching all levels of high school English, successfully managing a high school classroom, communicating with students and parents, and an understanding of adolescent needs. The ideal, and highly qualified candidate will: hold a bachelors degree in English or similar and will have completed a teacher preparation program, hold an appropriate teacher certification, and have completed or be in the process of obtaining a masters degree in English.
The ideal candidate will also be an outgoing, innovative professional with exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and written and oral communication skills.ESSENTIAL CHARACTERISTICS AND REQUIREMENTS: A deep appreciation for the Catholic faith, the School mission, its achievements, aspirations, and contributions.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with poise, tact, and diplomacy.A skilled communicator both oral and written; experience communicating clearly with parents/guardians.Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred; relevant teaching experience required.
