Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled volunteer to support the spiritual and pastoral mission of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Tucson. This role will involve preparing the Church and sanctuary for various Liturgical Celebrations.
Key Tasks:
- Support the preparation of the Church and sanctuary for Liturgy or Sacraments
- Set up and arrange objects, vessels, and vestments for use during Liturgy
- Welcome and support visiting Priests and ministers during rites
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Sacristy and Altar areas
- Ensure the proper care and security of Liturgical implements and materials
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- A working knowledge of liturgical terms and documents
