- Assist in the preparation of the Church and sanctuary for liturgical celebrations.
- Set up objects, vessels, and vestments, and return them to their proper place after use.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the sacristy and altar areas.
- Participate in rites as requested, and welcome ministers and visiting priests.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the pastor or supervisor.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of liturgical ministry and its function in the Catholic Church.
- Knowledge of the Liturgy of the Roman Catholic Church and pertinent Church documents.
- Ability to work varying schedules, including weekends, holy days, and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of bilingual skills (English, Spanish) is preferred.
