About the Role:
This position is responsible for supporting the Diocese of Tucson's spiritual and pastoral mission by preparing for various Liturgical Celebrations.
Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of the Church and sanctuary for Liturgy or Sacraments
- Assist in setting up objects, vessels, and vestments; returning them to their proper place after liturgy
- Welcome and support visiting Priests and ministers during rites
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Sacristy and Altar areas
- Ensure the proper care and security of Liturgical implements and materials
- Maintain confidentiality on all parish matters
Qualifications:
- A strong understanding of the Diocese's mission and values
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- A high school diploma or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of liturgical terms and documents
