Assembler – Heavy Mechanical

What you will be doing:

RoMan’s Assembler – Heavy Mechanical will be a collaborative and supportive individual who maintains specific mechanical assembly processes by thinking beyond tomorrow to ensure the support meets the desired production outcomes and customer needs.

Hourly wage is $19 - $24 per hour based on years of manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the ERP system to document completed pieces and issue materials from the Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Safely use the overhead crane and forklift as needed, while maintaining an up-to-date license.
• Familiar with or able to learn working with Hypot testing.
• Able to use torch wrenches, tin snips, impact drivers, and cordless drills.
• Proven experience in soldering and welding techniques.
• Assemble intricate units composed of a large amount of component parts.
• Able to read, interpret, and apply the information on a blueprint drawing.
• Perform diverse work involving considerable amount of adjusting, fitting, and aligning close tolerance and strict inspection standards.

The stuff you know:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to utilize the internal EPR system as required.
• Strong professional ethical values and integrity.
• Must be willing to cross train in other areas of manufacturing to learn other job skills.
• Team player with drive and strong communication skills.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrates a positive “can-do” attitude.
• Take responsibility for self-performance (Ability to manage time and responsibilities independently).
• Able to work variable and flexible hours including overtime with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate and committed to regular and reliable attendance as well as punctuality.

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
