We are actively seeking an Electrical Superintendent in the Indianapolis, IN area to join our award WINNING team.

Position Responsibilities :
Read blueprints and specification to determine the scope of work, locations, quantities, and sizes of materials requiredIdentify all tools required for tasksIdentify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risksAssemble and install electrical equipmentTerminate wires and cable to electrical equipment such as but not limited to breakers and control panelsTest electrical components for continuity and proper voltage readings according to specificationsInspect electrical equipment and components to identify hazards and to ensure the equipment is in good operational conditionSetup and maintain temporary power systemsInstall and maintain grounding systems for all equipment and structuresMaintain knowledge of electrical theory for example but not limited to ohms lawMaintain proficiency in cable pulling methods use to run the cable through specified pathwaysUtilize specialized electrical tools such as but not limited to ohm meters, multi-meters, and terminating devicesTroubleshoot equipment and systems for electrical malfunctionsIdentify different types, gauges, and color of cables and wiresFollow instructions correctlyMust be reliable, accountable, and consistent in performing administrative processesIllustrate knowledge and experience of working with a lock out tag out systemExpress an excellent working knowledge of Residential Building Codes / Electrical CodesHave knowledge in boxing and pulling romex in compliance with local building codesWilling and able to follow all instructed safety regulationsMake it to work on time and work the designated schedule and any overtime as needed with the proper notificationCommunicate well and have professional interpersonal skillsAble to train and coach coworkersProvide on-site direction and leadership to workersManagement of material, deadlines and quality control of installationsMust follow all state / local building regulations from the National Electrical CodeExperience and Qualification Requirements :
Must have a minimum of 5 years documented field work or completion of 4-year electrical apprenticeship programMust have an excellent understanding of the electrical industryMust have experience finding and repairing faults in electrical systemsMust possess all Position Responsibilities as explainedMust be able to meet all physical requirementsMust be able to work at heights in excess of 30 ft.Must have all required toolsMust have reliable transportationMust submit to criminal background checkMust be able to pass drug screenPreferred Additional Qualifications :
Licensed Journeyman ElectricianMulti-family project experienceOSHA 30 hour TrainingPhysical Requirements :
Must be able to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and liftingMust be able to speak English and hear to communicateMust be able to use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull : objects, materials, controls and toolsMust be able to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.Must be able to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and occasionally work off of platforms / scaffolding, (using the appropriate fall protection requirements)Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPEMust be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to : hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, masks / respirators, hi-vis safety vests, gloves and safety toe, construction-grade work bootsBenefits and Compensation :
